The St. Isidore School is committed to educating children in the Catholic faith in a rigorous academic environment. They are committed to developing lifelong critical, creative thinkers who actively serve the Church to enrich the community, communicate effectively, and attain their academic potential to the full.

St. Isidore School is a Catholic elementary school which fosters the belief that parents are their children's primary educators. They are committed to helping and assisting parents as facilitators of this process in preparing their children as Catholics for life in our complex, technological, and ever-changing world.

In September 1962 the St. Isidore School, located in the beautiful San Ramon Valley, opened its doors to the public. The teachers of the school along with four sisters from St. Francis of Philadelphia served students in grades 1-8, graduating in first class in 1967. The school expanded and required a Kindergarten Program that was added to the campus in 1982.  A few years later a new lobby, along with additional resource rooms and classrooms were installed.

Their culture of motivated students, devoted teachers, and dedicated parents continued to expand and the student body increased. In 1997 the school started offering two classes per grade level, making it the East Bay's largest Catholic School.  Also added that year was a state of the art Research Hub and Science Lab. Between the years 2011-2012 the magnificent Rose Sandoval Library was completed and soon became a favorite among students.

Exciting developments continue to occur on campus with the launch of the 2016 TK, Makerspace and Jr. system. High Math Classroom 2017 and a major remodeling of classrooms 2018. Fresh floors, furniture, decor, lighting and elevated ceilings were part of the remodeling.  The school and parish continue to supervise various building and repair programs including the installation of a security gate at the office and the entrances to Kids Konnection. SIS is committed to providing 21st century technology to students with an engaging learning environment.

St. Isidore School was awarded Blue Ribbon Status in 1994.
