I am a licensed Certified Public Accountant in the state of California because I want to serve as a trusted advisor to individuals and small businesses in achieving their financial goals. I earned my MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University, after which I had a successful career in Consumer-Packaged Goods, Software, and Medical Device industries with Fortune 500 companies where I held positions of increasing responsibility in strategic and tactical marketing. In 2012 I began offering strategic consulting services and one of my clients was an accounting firm. Through this engagement, I identified my affinity for accounting, and began my pursuit of a CPA license. During this pursuit, I was fortunate to work for TYS LLP where I served as a tax accountant, and Vavrinek, Trine, Day & Co., LLP where I performed audits, reviews, and tax preparations. In 2017, after successfully completing numerous college classes, CPA exams, and work experience requirements, the California State Board of Accountancy awarded me the CPA license. I launched my professional practice in January of 2018. I believe that the combination of my extensive business management experience with accounting expertise make me uniquely qualified to serve my client’s needs.
I believe community service is an honor and currently serve as treasurer of the Golf Villas at Blackhawk Home Owners Association, bookkeeper for the Danville/ Sycamore Valley Rotary where I am an active member and treasurer of The Cutting-Edge BNI group.
I am a native Californian and I have been an East Bay resident since 1987. I have a passion for mountain biking, hiking Mount Diablo with my dog, and trying out new recipes with my foodie daughter and wife.
My mission is to serve my clients as the trusted advisor that helps them achieving their financial goals. I do this by applying expert knowledge in accounting and financial best practices in a personalized fashion that advances my clients financial success. I offer these services at a value that large accounting firm can't afford.
My battery gets charged when I see my individual clients achieving financial goals like buying a house, putting children through college, or feeling financially secure enough to retire. I get excited when my small business clients enhance profitability, expand, or achieve cost savings.
